I love Kerala food and so am a regular at restaurants serving the same. But everytime I’ve eaten at Southern spice-much to my husband’s discomfort(not a fish eater)- I’ve been a served Stale fish.especially kingfish.
Inspite of this, I used to promise myself never to visit that place again. But as if I would suffr from temporary amnesia I would go to eat out there again.reliving the bad rather stale experience.
Today was the worst experience- I ordered for a fish thali and had to wait for 50 mins for them to serve me. And to top it the surmai in the curry was black in colour and was atleast more that 3 days stale. the appam had some kind of leftovers on it. service was bad.and I had to wait for 20 mins more for my bill.
So no more Southern spice for me henceforth.i can see my husband smiling reading this.
