Space Cowboys

This movie starts out with a flashback in time (the slow part of the movie). And then it is not so slow.

This movie is about a group of top Air Force pilots who are retired, they all had a dream of going into space.

Then years passed and a Russian satellite has suffered major system failures.

Since the Russian system is very much like the American system Bob (James Cromwell) decides to fix the satellite, but he needs help.

Frank Corvin (Clint Eastwood) is retired and he is the only man alive that can do this job. This is a chance of a lifetime for Frank but he won’t take it unless he can bring back his whole crew. Which they end up agreeing to, just to get the satellite fixed.

Some parts of this movie were very slow in my opinion BUT most of the movie kept me on the edge of my seat wanting the next sceen. I took my children to see this movie and they enjoyed it very much. Can’t wait for this movie to come out on video so I can watch it again.

Frank, Hawk Hawkins (TOMMY LEE JONES), Jerry O’Neil (DONALD SUTHERLAND) and Tank Sullivan (JAMES GARNER) stretch the rules and strain the patience of Eugene Davis (WILLIAM DEVANE), their Flight Director, as well as their much younger counterparts, Ethan Glance (LOREN DEAN) and Roger Hines (COURTNEY B. VANCE).
