Spar is located in the well connected M.G. Road and is not far from the Metro Station of the same name. Its location makes it ideal for a quick stop and shop, otherwise, bring your car and ready yourself with a trolley or two to do some major shopping. This market offers the shopper various facilities for availing deals that quite a steal.
To top it off Spar has a membership process which allows the member shopper to collect points and avail discounts through these points. So next time you go there make sure you get a membership because you’ve got nothing to lose, its free! The store is a departmental type that stocks everything from electronics, stationary, plastic products(storage, house utility, etc) to groceries. You will find almost everything at Spar and for a good price too. However problems have emerged in the last few weeks I have visited the place. Despite being a large departmental store they seem to lack the drive to introduce higher costing products onto their racks too.
Being a particular lover of noodles, the store falls short in stock piling this particular product among many others. Also I detest that Spar condones low quality products like Fackelmann. I would suggest the reader of this review to not buy any Fackelmann products as they are deceptively made to look good only on the surface but lack any utility whatsoever. I was also rather unhappy with the staff working among the racks because they are ill trained and lacked any knowledge of what section they are in charge of. All in all I would conclude that Spar- Hypermarket, Gurgoan is a potentially wonderful place to shop if not for the bad management and customer service.
