Sparky’s dinner on spur tank road has a few advantages and a few dis-advantages.The very first time I went there- about a week after they opened, I was greated by a curio shop. All american. You are constantly wondering if you were in a restaurant or in a gift shop. Number plats, cards, dolls, and a surf board thrown in for good measure. Sometimes It is too much to assimilate.
However , each table has a distinct state featured on it. with police arm patches, postcards and other memorabalia.
Its a fun place to go to, but at times, the service is quite terrible. It is evident that the employees are not very well experienced, as many a times they themselves are hanging around having fun. This is not the scene you want to see in a professionally run environment.
The food is excellent - even though it does get burnt (i have had my food burnt twice), but hey - that happens. Thom Petty is the entrepreneur behind this idea, and it does go well as an eatery where you make up for about 10 years worth of calories lost in a single meal.
If you are really hungry - go for the mumbo - its a huge plate with two dishes piled into it. I could finsih it just once. (whjich is an achievement). AND - Dont miss the friday buffet.
That is value for money - filled with every imaginable type of non veg food, you can eat once for the entire weekend and enjoy yourself.
The average per head cost for a meal and drink works out to about INR215, which is decent considering the amount of food given.
Net net - good place.

Service - 1 - waiters need to grow up.
Ambience- 4 - clean and functtional.
VFM - 4 - good whole some.
