I went to their emergency with acute pain in the stomach on a Saturday(30th March). I was well attended by the staff there who gave pain killers and advised me to get admitted by 11.00 PM for diagnosis and treatment. Once admitted the ordeal begins. They have one junior MBBS doctor for 75 in - patients, so have no time to respond to patient needs. I was suffering with pain and it took over an hour for the duty doctor to make a flash visit and instruct the nurse to start medication. I was put on heavy doses of injection of broad-spectrum antibiotics and pain killers. Next day Dr. Aditya was posted to see me in the morning at 9: 00 AM. He did not come at all, a junior doctor came in the afternoon and instructed to stop all oral intake and get an ultrasound done.
Ultrasound was done by the technician as they dont have a regular radiologist, it takes one extra day to give report which showed as gall bladder infection and sled deposit. Again Next day also even till noon Dr. Aditya did not come to see, I insisted on changing the consultant to Dr. Adrash Nayak who seemed approachable. After a lot of pleading she took charge. Did the check up and posted for CT scan in the afternoon. Again done bt technician and need to wait till late next day for a report from Radiologist. Meanwhile, a gastroenterologist made a flash visit with nothing to say. Next day even before the CT report came, they wanted me to stay back and get the surgery done by Dr. Sangi Reddy.
I refused and requested discharge. They did not accept, instead, Dr. Sangi Reddy came for examination and quizzed the wounded gallbladder so hard that out me to unbearable pain. His intention was to create an emergency so that I will agree to rush for operation. I resisted the motive and asked Dr. Reddy to stay away from me. Because of the rupture he did, I needed to stay admitted for 2 more days. The ordeal in the hospital continued till Thursday and Dr. Adarsh finally accepted to my plead and discharged on Thursday( hefty bill of 60K), ending the horrible time in the hospital( Subsequently I got my gall bladder removed in good hospital by an eminent team of surgeons).
Some on the unethical practices at this hospital:
1.Wards in the 4th floor are on unauthorized Constructionguru30 on terrace, water flows in toward floors ofter from the water tank. There are no ventilation or fire safety or fire exit provisions. Any for the accident will be a major disaster.
2.Specialists Doctors do not come to see patients, but bills for consultation charges are charged to patients every day. I have paid for 4 docs @ 1000 per head for 4 days, whereas only one specialist( Dr. Adarsh) attended to me. This is cheating patients.
3.They bill almost double the MRP for medicines used, which again is cheating. I am writing this so that people do not become a victim of such greedy, dangerous organization. It may still be Ok to go for OP and other daycare.
DO NOT GET ADMITTED AND GET TRAPPED.
