Unreliable service

Spectranet broadband plans looked attractive than my Tata broadband I was already using. So I decided to switch to spectranet. But I am regretting my decision now. My review is based on 4 weeks of usage.


For getting the connection, when I called the specranet representative, he landed at my door within 10 mintues to collect advance. He asked for three months advance and promised that connection will be done within 2 days.


As promised, their technicians came and activated the connection within 2 days. But the real trauma started after that. I am facing downtime every 3 to 4 days. Whenever broadband service is down, they take anywhere between few hours to few days even, for restoring the service.


And a smart thing they have done is, when you are facing issues with broadband and try to call their customer care from your registered phone number, they play this pre-recorded message and cut the call - "Dear valued customer, we are sorry that you are experiencing service degradation at this moment. Our tech support team is already on the job and we will get the issue resolved quickly."
