Hi! I just want to make people aware of what ethics this company conducts its business with, to help people keep away from such a service provider. I run a small business and availed a home plan to test their service and then upgrade to an enterprise solution, but I was scammed by the sales professional to cancel the previous plan and request a new line only so he could get another sale under his belt. I followed the procedure as suggested by him only to loose a big chunk of the security deposit. The sale was made with the false information that I will have an account manager(Please dont fall for this false line, all connections just have a helpline and not a single point contact that understands your need in particular. While there is nothing wrong with having a help line, it needs to be clear at the time of sale). The sales personnel was unaware of the required documentation, the infrastructure set up to set up and line. When the team arrived to set up the internet, they said they are an external vendor and had no connection with the company, this put me under so much stress as I had invested hard earned money to create the infrastructure for someone with no responsibility of consequences if things didnt go as planned and damages. The line by itself was frequently disconnected and I handled it with much difficulty. If all of these were not reasons enough to stop using their service, my business was ripped off pre-paid expenses during the nationwide lockdown. When even home internet plans gave options to suspend the internet for the period of the lockdown, Spectra having a customer who used an enterprise solution gave me false information that they would suspend the account and never did it. They delayed it each day when we were almost reduced to tears and wrote every day to suspend the account to save what little we had at the beginning of a huge economic crisis. Later they just called to say they do not suspend accounts, possibly only to escape a legal consequence. No one from the call centre/support team reached me until I requested a disconnection. I had several calls that followed up with me when I requested termination, all this time they acted like they cant help me because of the lockdown and suddenly there teams of experts who had all the time in the world to help me, just to scam more money from me. At this point I was already been victim of their cheap tactics and knew the best I can get is a refund of my security deposit and I requested the company to refund the amount. They made one last promise to do that only to slap a fake bill on my business to make it look like I never requested for a termination and they are disbarring services to me because of nonpayment. Honestly, how is this client relationship management? Are these the founding principles of the company? The lack of organization, lack of accountability and the cheap tactics to scam money by this company is beyond shocking. Save your money and go to a different internet provider.
