I would like to bring to your notice and place a complaint regarding the horrible experience we had with your staff at Spencers, Aurobindo Mall, Salkia, Howrah, West Bengal.
We were waiting patiently at the billing queue and when our time came for billing, another customer who was behind us started putting his stuff on the counter. We asked your cashier Santu to ask that customer to wait since we were infront him, but your cash counter guy rudely told us to stop him ourselves and that he will not say anything. Isnt it the job of spencers staff to handle this??? Why should one customer tell the other?? Thats not our job.. Its the job of your staff to see proper management and to tell customer to wait so that the person infront of him gets his billing done first!!! Every other retail outlet or any store that we go to follows this rule.... But this outlet of yours has extremely rude, untrained staff like Santu!!! His attitude is horrible with customers.
Secondly, we wanted to avail the offer of payment by freecharge and told Santu, the counter guy to do the needful.. We loaded money in our freecharge account and when informed him to process it, he simply didnt do it.. Said hes unable to do so!!!!!!! What kind of staff are you hiring??? He does not even know billing methods and is standing at the counter!!! Besides what also is the store manager doing??? How is he allowing such people to handle billing when they are not even aware of the different offers which are running in the store (attached are pics, pls ignore the security guard in the photo as hes not involved in any of this).
Ive been a loyal customer of Spencers for a long time now, but if nowadays you are hiring such unruly people like Santu, then Im sure Ill be thinking twice to shop from Spencers in future.
Hope you consider this a serious matter of concern and look into it ASAP.
