I bought two of these phones back in November 2013. At that time I paid Rs. 6000/phone. I checked online today and now it’s at Rs. 3899 on some websites. Let me tell you if you want a budget phone that’s reliable go for this phone. It has one year android update FOR FREE! Camera is decent. It’s extremely reliable and capable phone. My sis has been using it for few months and it has no issue(except may be battery and screen is not gorilla glass).
All the hardware are handpicked by Google so even though it’s manufactured by Spice you can really count on hardware since Google picked it up.
Pros: Fast speed, Gyrosensor and all other sensors that are sometimes missing on high end phones, Smooth operation, Dual Sims, Great phone for people who have never used Android before, Front and back camera, 4 GB memory etc
Cons: Okay camera, Display cracked after I dropped it from one foot(it’s not gorilla), battery is okay(you’ll have to recharge it often if you’re using it all day), parts are more expensive than phone itself but you can easily get them replaced for dirt cheap if you just go to local vendor(most mobile shops repair these phones)
Bottom line: Buy it for the people who have never used Android before(grandma, mom, grandpa etc etc) or just buy it as secondary phone if you already have another phone.
