I have been using a Spice D-88, Dual Active SIM, handset for about 2 months now. Having divorced Tata Indicom and the Samsung Duo for this , I found the package really worth it. The phone was bought for Rs. 9500/- alongwith 2 Batteries, 1 travel charger, 1 hands-free and manual & warranty card at Chandigarh.
First looks came really be deceptive. I found the the finishing of the product raw, looks like a Motorola phone but at close quarters looks ugly from the quality of metal used on the sides. The phone has a decent display, good battery life, it gets reduced drastically when both CDMA & GSM modes are simultaneously used. But thats what is beautiful about this device. At one time, you can be doing four people on this phone using Call Waiting on both the connections. Speaker is cool and crisp.
The best part is that all the contacts can be converted to vcards, which can be then interpolated via MS Outlook into any other Nokia Phone or any other device that accepts vcards. The camera is not great work but then nobody is buying this phone for its camera. The dual sims, [ruim for the cdma] work well and I have been using a RIM and a Airtel connection together on this phone. Except for the quality of the finish this phone is great...
