Spice republic is now closed down but it sucks bad..
ive been there twice.being a vegetarian, i ordered veg dumplings and noodles the first time and found it quite ok..
the second time around I ordered veg dumplings, only to find that I didnt like it..i wondered why when I found out I was served chicken dumplings instead of veg !!!
IT WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!Hey, everyone makes mistakes but spice replublic guys didnt even sound aplogetic..
this was my worst experience with outside food and thankfully, I hadnt had more than a piece of the chicken dumplings, something my taste buds refused to like..
the person who served us wasnt sorry at all, in fact when I took the food to the counter and asked him what it was, he nonchalantly said ’’chicken’’ in my face when he knew very well, it was veg I ordered, cos he told me it was veg and gave it in my hand..
on other ocassions, i have seen the guys at the counter laugh and pass some jokes at the customers walking in..who probably according to them didnt look hep enough or cool enough..
it crossed my mind to tell the guy that he was behind a counter working, whereas those not so hep people could afford to eat their food at spice republic..
on the whole, the place sucked and im so glad its closed down now and taken over by ohris.
