I booked my flights with Spicejet in Feb2020 before the covid19 for travel in May20. Obviously the flights got cancelled as India was in lockdown. I received a nicely worded very encouraging mail from Spicejet saying your money is safe with us in Credit Shell to be used before March2021. Now when i went to book my tickets for travelling and try to use that same credit shell i receive a message saying contact the booking partner. I contacted was given the answer that money is with airlines. It is a nice game of badminton with me as a shuttlecock between Via and Spicejet with no one ready to return my money. I trusted Spicejet to be a little more trustworthy but this is cheating. I don’t know if i will ever see a penny of my good hard-earned white money. This is demoralizing and frustrating. This is pure and clear fraud. Stop such fraudulent practices or you will go down the drain just like many others.
