Being in boarding school iv done a lot of travelling on a budget and usually found spicejets fares to be the lowest. Iv also found that their service wasnt all that bad in spite of being a budget airline. One can book tickets online, on the phone or even at one of their offices.
The passenger is given a PNR number which can be used anywhere so you dont even need to carry the ticket with you and also can ask someone to book a ticket for you and sms the PNR number to you which you can use at any of the airports. I found this system really useful . Spicejet has mostly always been on time and I dont remember being made to wait as opposed to Air Deccan where most of the times iv flown with them, the flights been delayed.
The aircraft are in pretty good shape too and the flight crew including the pilots were good too. Id reccomend you try and get the emergency exit seats as they give you more than double the legroom as the regular seats. Id really recommend Spicejet instead of Air Deccan if your on a budget.
