Not able to utilise credit for cancelled ticket

I had cancelled a Spicejet ticket about two months ago and have an amount of Rs 1775 is to my credit.


Today I wanted to utilise the credit amount to book a ticket. Spicejet website is not accepting the canceled PNR which is required to utilise the credit amount. Their reservation numbers 18001803333 and 098718033 are not available. **I tried both the numbers AT LEAST TEN times each. The first number is dead. For the second number I got recorded message ’Please check the number you have dialed’.



I sent mail to custrelations@spicejet.com


Immediately I have received an automated reply:

Should you require urgent assistance, please call us at our 24-hours Guest Sales & Reservations numbers mentioned below for your reference.


Preponement/Postponement or Cancellation can be made to your Booking if you notify us at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time by calling the SpiceJet Sales & Reservation Centre(0987-180-3333) or at the airport or through the SpiceJet internet web site at https://spicejet.com if the booking was originally made on our web site.


Please note that due to security reasons Preponement/Postponement or Cancellation requests cannot be processed on emails.
