I am once in 2 months traveller between pune and bangalore for the past 2.5 years and have travelled in all the airlines that operate in this sector. I had an avg. opinion abt the spicejet airlines till 15th of June. The next day was my marriage in Nashik and we had booked a flight from Bangalore to Mumbai and then planned take a cool cab from there to Nashik. The flight was ontime and we went thru all the security and stuff. Finally we were in the plane and all excited abt the marriage. We were airborne for abt 30 mins and then I realized that I forgot to pick up my wallet from the security check guy. Immediately I called the air hostess and explained her situation. She wil inform the captain and see what can be done.
A few mins later she came to tell that the captain had informed the ATC about wallet and its description and what it contained. She also asked me to contact the Spicejet airport office in Mumbai to find out more. The nest 45 mins of the flight was real bad. The very thougth of losing all my cards and money at this time was frightning.
As soon as we landed in Mumbai airport, a guy from Spicejet waiting for me told me that they had got to know abt this from the captain and had informed the Bangalore Spicejet airlines manager to secure the wallet from the security personal if they found it. I rushed to the spicejet counter and asked for the managers phone number. I called him and he was a nice person who spoke in a very assuring tone. He told that he will try his best to get the wallet.
With not much time left, we were off to Nashik. Mid way, the manager called to tell that the CISF guards had the wallet and he has informed the Airport manager abt the loss. He also told that he had seen my cards and license intact. So, I was relieved.
Finally, after I came back to Bangalore on the 21st of June, the Spicejet manager was there to help me get the wallet from the airport manager.
Thanks to the Spicejet Crew that I have not lost a single penny from my wallet and got it back intact!!
