I have never flown in my life before. Recently, I have started using low-cost airlines such as Spicejet and Air Deccan and Kingfisher.
Spicejet is very horrible with it’s timings. There is not one instance that I can give where it has been punctual. Ofcourse, if you have the time to spare and are of the type who will start reading a book at the airport or start talking to a stranger, then it’s allright. Recently, my wife had to wait for almost 6 hours to board the flight. They kept on telling her that the flight was delayed elsewhere and had run into technical snags.
I am very particular about timings and this does not help at all. So, if you are my type, you would be wise to fly with Jet or Kingfisher. Kingfisher is quiet reasonable with their pricing and have a very good service. Hope they flew to all cities in India.
My recommendation is based on the fact that this is the only airline which has direct flights to some of the cities in India which no other airlines have. [Ex: Ahmedabad].
