I had taken a flight from Mumbai to Delhi (21st October 2012) - to my bad luck, after flying punctual hours with Indigo for the last 2-3 years, chose Spice Jet for a change this time. One thing for sure - am never flying them again - if its the last flight to life!!
A delay of 4 hours is just the start of the plight. Hanging around in the airport with a 3 year old is just the start of the wait. THE STAFF IS TERRIBLE - a certain Ms Sheran kept screaming at everyone who asked her what time the flight would land. There were no announcements made on delays - which left some people wondering if they had missed the flight - only to be shouted at by Sheran - "take it or leave it" she said - totally unapologetic of the delay "this is the way we are".
When asked the time - she said it was not her job to answer questions and a rude "thank you, you can leave" followed the inquiry.
Must say, Sharon, your not made for the service industry - delays are passable , attitude in this business - NOT!!
The next few hours were spent within the aircraft because we couldn’t get runway time - pilot blaming the airport authorities - poor chap!! Finally, we had to fly towards the east for a north bound flight - but we were in the air.
Food quality - TERRIBLE - I had pre-booked a non veg meal - which apparently had finished.
Flight landed in Delhi and the lights in the cabin went off - we had to spend 20 minutes in the flight after landing and stopping in the dark while they tried to reconnect the lights... post which the hostess couldn’t get the door open.
Issue - staff totally ok with it - no apologies, no regrets!! Audacity to say - hope u had a good flight!! Wow!
Wonder how such service levels get passed in this day and age - people, you have options ... please dont give in to this!!
And Sheran .. move on please!! Spare us passengers ..
