I travel frequently in the Chennai - Bangalore sector, and unfortunately for me the only reasonable timings(on paper) were that of SpiceJet.
But after couple of times, I was forced to seek alternatives because you JUST cannot travel on time with Spicejet. They re-schedule, cancel flights as if they are just routine activities, sometimes even after you reach the airport.
Unbelievable levels of mismanagement. I wonder how the staff still holds on to this company because they face the customers’ fury all the time. I feel bad about the staff for working for such an irresponsible company.
May be the larger aircraft they have in some sectors are taking-off on-time? For me, if somebody cheats you once, consider it as their mistake, but second time if the same person cheats you, it’s your mistake. So I’ve decided to take other airlines or go by road/train than planning a trip on Spicejet.
