Recently I took a spice jet flight to Chennai. My luggage was sealed well and there was no liquid in it. Whe we got back the luggage it was full of foul smelling liquid, when I told this to the Spicejet people, they said, something is broken inside, when we opened the bag, there was nothing in it. But the spicejet refused to accept it and after a lot of persistence they took down a damage claim sheet. But its been over two months now, we have waited for the damage claims, nothing came to us, no one has called us regarding the same. T
he worse part is none of the well dressed staff were even apologetic. Since then I have never taken a spice jet and always tell my friends and as well as to you to avoid spicejet at all costs. Because in terms of cost, none of the airlines is really low cost, they charge very low for the ticket, whereas the tax is more than the cost of the ticket, so it does come to a close 4k, unless you book it well in advance. But for people like me where travel is fixed at the last minute its difficult to book in advance. So friends do avoid spice jet unless they improve on their professional skills and also in improving their customer response management.
