So I flew from Mumbai to Ahmadabad, with SpiceJet, few weeks ago. To begin with, it was more like traveling in a bus than by air.
The flight weirdly smelled of dhokla and khakra. Even though the staff was kind I had to’call-out’ to the air-hostess more than twice for just some water. Obviously I was over-charged for a small bottle of water because apparently nothing comes free in Spicejet.
Since it was a 7.30am flight most of the passengers were sleeping and so was I, untill I was woken up with some loud noise which seem to the coming from the aircraft coupled with strong vibrations. I woke up with a start and couldn’t sleep after that. The noise continued and I has to call the air-hostess to ask whether all was ok. She said "Oh, its absolutely normal, since its a small aircraft".
I have travelled with a good number of airlines and even in small air-crafts and trust me nothing about that noise was normal. I prayed throughout the journey and told myself that I will not be carried away with airfare hence.
