28th of sep13 morning I was suppose to travel through SG carrier to Trivandrum with my wife , kids & two elders (6 of us). Reached first check-in counter that gentle lady looked @ me & asked me to go the last counter & we proceeded to it, waited for 10-12 min. From their other gentle man shuttled me to another counter saying pls scan the baggage & come to next counter.
We didnt say any, reached back after scanning, now the gentleman said sorry sir, you have only assigned the ticket not taken the print boarding pass, now you are late by 5 min. We cannot help you. It was a true shock to me, I kept requesting him to not to do that because all of it done only by them by shuttling me here & there.later I under stood this entire drama was taken place just because the have sold my seats to some body else. Its truly atrocious.
In further cruel manner the airport manager himself admitted that my seats been already sold to some one else, we cannot help you, do what ever you want. Believe me if I would have been alone , for sure I would have given my peace of mind to that manager for playing around such dirty trick with customer.
There are occasions I have checked in 30 min also.
Just because I never wanted to disappoint my kids I reschedule my booking with them again by paying a penalty of 20k approx. Beware that SPICEJET do this filthy short cut ( unethical)way of robbing attitude with most of their customers.
I have traveled so many places but I never faced such a pathetic dirty trick by their manager in my life time. Even in international flight 30 min before I have checked in that too from NYK by Lufthansa
Just for their benefit , they make the customer to loose lot of money ( like house boat booking & travel pickup money etc). It really caused such a mental agony to me & my family.
Next in my lifetime I will neither travel with SPICE nor recommend them to any of my trade colleagues.
Now the classic situation is , after rescheduling for the evening flight with 20k penalty , I am receiving a message & automated voice message saying my flight SG 3307 is delayed by 75 min then later SMS prompted almost 150 min delay( reached 12.15 MN).
Imagine already my little ones suffered by getting up early for the early on flight , now they have to suffer once again to go late to bed because of SPICE dirty attitude. Vacation always brings freshness in everyones mind. Instead SPICE have bring in such a pathetic pain in our hearts.
They made our holidays into hell(idays).
NEVER THINK OF SPICE JET IN YOUR LIFETIME.
