I booked a Spicejet flight from Dehradun to Delhi on 16th April which was to depart at 16.15 hours with PNR S98VXJ
Thereafter I have received a message from Spicejet saying the flight has been postponed to 17.35 hours. I spoke to their customer care who informed me that if I wish to cancel I shall have to bear cancellation charges.
I fail to understand why this is the case. Being delayed by 1 hour 20 minutes DOES NOT suit me as I have other engagements to attend to in Delhi.
How can you just change the flight timings without giving the customer an option to cancel/book another flight. Other airlines also change timings but give the option of refunding the ticket if the new timing doesnt suit.
In addition the two people I spoke to in the customer care-Mr Amit Kumar and Mr Rishikesh were rude and not at all sympathetic.
I shall never ever be booking Spicejet again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone
