Flew Spicejet on Bom-Goa (GOI) and BOM-DEL sectors.Low cost but
very efficient airline. Good service. They have all B 737-800
aircraft fleet.
The ground staff is courteous.Since its a ticketless airline, you
get only e-ticket.Twice I have travelled on this airline, but not
even once has the check in staff demanded to see the proof of my
identity.I have no problems with this as long as the ticket is
booked in my name and I get my boarding card.
Flight Attendants (FAs) are cheerful. You get service with a
smile. The inflight magazine Spice Route is pretty good reading,
but you are requested to leave it behind for the next passenger as
Spicejet is a low cost airline.Spicejet flights are no smoking
flights
In BOM-DEL flight, which was at 4 a.m., cookies were served
alongwith some candies. In BOM-GOI flight, packaged peanuts were
given as snack. A foreigner couple seating next to me brought down
their table trays in anticipation when they saw the food cart
rolling down the aisle. However, they were disappointed when they
saw that only peanuts were being distributed and quickly folded
their tables.
Seating is pretty good and lighting is sufficient. I would suggest
that if you book Spicejet tickets online, select your desired
seats at the time of booking. You can book your tickets on
http://www.spicejet.com or alternatively you can call the numbers listed
on the website.
In my opinion, Spicejet is good value for money. You may not get
the benefits attached to a regular airlines, but the service is
very efficient. Highly recommended.
