Delhi to Varanasi on Spicejet, it was a wonderful experience. I was flying on my first flight with my wife just three days after our marriage and Spice Jet made all the difference in making the flight memorable and delightful.
Booking
I got the ticket booked in advance direct from the Spicejet website using my Credit Card. The ticket was emailed and SMSd to me. As I made the booking a month in advance, the ticket I got was also not very expensive.
At the Airport
It was my first flight so I was bit unsure about the steps to be followed at the time of boarding. We reached the Spice Jet counter and were very happily serviced by the executives present there. We got our boarding passes and went ahead with security checkups etc. We were assisted at every point till we comfortably board the aircraft.
The Aircraft
Aircraft was good, clean and comfortable. Serviced by extremely polite, pretty and helpful air hostesses, we didn’t face any trouble in getting settled on our seats. We were nicely served. The environment in the plane was well maintained. Snacks etc was offered but in an hour long flight we didn’t feel like having any of it. I wish the seats were reclinable. It didn’t matter in an hour long flight but would have been irksome in a longer journey.We landed at our destination with a delay of 10 minutes. It was a nice journey.
The airport looked pathetic but the Spice Jet career and service had already won our heart to notice the same.
