We were travelling to Kochi from Hyderabad on June 2nd, 2012. Due to traffic I reached the counter at 9:50 am for the 10:20 am flight. My 3 year old nephew had a doctors appointment . We were denied boarding because we were not within 45 minutes. They said they make exceptions, but not for us. The lady at the counter did not want to change her mind.
They also did not move my ticket to 9th June which is the next appointment I could get. They made us buy a fresh set of tickets and did not refund any money for the June 2nd tickets.
Customer service and staff are so egoistic and not very caring.
On June 12, 2012 I travelled to Tirupati by SG1041 and SpiceJet allowed 4 passengers to board 5 minutes before departure. I am happy for those passengers for not losing money and missing the trip. However, that shows total discrimination regarding my case. I had 30 minutes. They still denied boarding. The lady supervisor and the guy are really something.
They are mean!
