Hi all. This is my first review on MouthShut.com. Finally decided to write a review. Im more of a netizen and decided to write on a site Im using more esp these days. Also felt this would be useful to most of you. There are many sites which are informative, and some which provide some really useful services. Well, SpiceSMS.com is one of them. It offers the following services:
Web to Mobile SMS to India & USA
Mobile to Web Messaging
Sending Emails from Mobile
Information on Handsets, service providers etc.
Now let me start from #1. There are quite a few sites that offer free SMS from Web to Mobile. For example, SMSjunction.com, sms.Bizhat.com, Adheeth.com, FunOnPhone.com, Sripadma.com. But SpiceSMS.com definitely has an edge over the others. One reason is its speed, another one is the user-friendly interface. Once you send a message, the number & your email are automatically saved for next use! Further no registration is required for this service. I’ve been using this service for a month or so, and its been good here at Delhi. Dont know how it works for USA.
Second is mobile to web messaging. For this you need to register there. Using this service you can RECEIVE MESSAGES from your friends from their WAP mobile. These messages are received immediately.
Third is Sending Emails from WAP mobiles. This is one of the services, Im using just too much. Im able to send emails from bus, college, train.. wherever I am. This is very very useful. Because at times, the person you want to communicate may not have a mobile. Or you may not have access to a computer to send an urgent mail. Or you may be on the way to your home! So its really useful! Above all, its free.The site claims that this service works worldwide.
Last one is the information on handsets, prices, reviews etc. I found some of this information to be little outdated. But, well searching mobiles option was really good. I havent; used these sections much.
So to wind-up, well SpiceSMS.com is quite a good site, and worth many-a-visit!
