What a movie ! You just have to watch it ! The Performances are good (Dr. Otto Octavius is brilliant!). There is the usual funny stuff at the start of the movie, with spiderman delivering pizzas. Then the serious stuff begins ! Spider man is beginning to lose his powers (his mind is more on Mary-Jane then on his job of fighting crime.) A chat with his grand mother sets him straight ! And then there is Dr. Octavius. He is a treat to watch, especially with his mechanical arms! Ok! I’m not going to tell you the whole story! This time the story is not only about action and special effects.
The script portrays how difficult it really is to be a superhero and the kind of sacrifices one has to make to be one! It also shows how everyone can be a hero if one choses to be ! Enough of the philososophical stuff! let’s get to the good things !!! The action and special effects are simply marvellous.
The fights between doc. oc and spidey are great. Come to think of it, I can’t remember spidey fighting anyone else. The fight sequence on the train is the masterpiece of the movie. You have to watch this movie, or else you’ll be missing something really amazing.
