After watching this wonderful movie I could not stop myself from writing a review. I liked its predecessor for its special effects and its action. So I was expecting it to be an action packed movie. But it was pleasant to see the emotional stuff in this movie and this is what makes this movie a must watch.
This movie is more of about the human aspect of Peter Parker and his failures in day to day life. The way he struggles to live a decent life. In this movie the director portrays how this sweet young guy Peter Parker is losing his social life, his studies because of his responsibilities as a super hero. In fact this movie shows what it means to live like a hero?always caring for others and sacrificing small- small pleasures and in some case even self respect.
These emotional moments and the fight of Peter Parker to finally overcome his failures and emerge as a hero make this movie special. The movie starts showing that Peter is very busy carrying out his duties as a super hero. But on personal front he is failing?he is not doing well in studies?his love life is at stake?infact he cannot even express his love to the lady he loves?he is not able to pay the rent of his apartment ? and the spidy who reaches everywhere on time, can not even deliver the pizza at correct time?result he loses his job?and finally the real trouble ..when he lost his spidy powers and finally quits ?These are some of the emotional moments I liked the most ?.
# When Peter?s aunt tried to gave him $20 and he refuses to take?and his aunt says plz take it this is just 20 $....
# the other scene was when he admitted to his aunt that he was responsible for his uncle?s death?
# the other scene was when he meets MJ(Mary Jane) in a restaurant and she asks if he loves her ? and he says no ?the performances are just too good ?
# one of the scenes which shows how vulnerable our hero is when he came to his home?tired and broken as he has now lost his powers also ?but then comes the sweet lady living opposite his apartment and offers him some cake and milk ?this situation is too good ..
I don?t know the actress?s name but she looks so simple and cute ? and I was very pleased as she was helping my hero ?
# there is another scene when our hero is totally exhausted after saving train from crash ? and the people support him and take him into the train ? and the conversation that follow?
# finally this is one of scenes I liked the most?.as here our spidy reveals himself to MJ and the scene that follows?.and finally she runs off her marriage and comes back to our hero.
There are others too(its highly subjective?so ur views may vary) ? see for more things ? one more scene which I like was when a Chinese woman was singing spiderman-song ..in some funny accent?.and there is scene when Peter Parker uses his spidy powers to deliver the pizzas (what ..see for urself)
Apart from these senti stuff there are some thrilling action scenes also ? the chief ones are when Dr Ock tries to loot the bank and take hostage of Peter Parker?s aunt. The other one is the fight on the train ? where spidy has got all his powers back and is in full flow. The special effects are as usual very good.
Now I will reveal a little bit of the plot. So this problem arises when Dr. Otto Octavius was performing a nuclear fusion experiment with his so called assistants, metal tentacles which acted as robotic arms and due to some problem the experiment become unstable. While all this fuss Dr Octavius got electrocuted which damaged the chip thru which doctor was controlling the tentacles. With no control over the tentacles he became a slave or rather his mind was spoiled by the tentacles and he went on to do the experiment again and on his own. For that he needed money?so he looted bank ? to get the funds ?.
He got hold of the trillinium (sorry if spelling is wrong) and finally conducted the experiment ?which creates a threat to the whole city as the experiment could become unstable and destroy the city ?.there is no one who could stop him ...except our own hero ?so watch how he stops him and save the city.
Finally Harry Osborn was shown going into his fathers lab ? and looking at some chemicals?so is he going to be the next green goblin ?to avenge his father?s death. Also Dr Ock is not shown as dead ..so will he return ?Let us see ?
The plus points of this movie are definitely the well directed scenes and the superb acting by all. Kudos to Sam Raimi for making such a good movie.
