SPX+humour=lesson learnt from previous film

Spiderman’s been rebooted so many times, showcased in a cartoon series that lasted 5 seasons, back in the day when other comic series rarely got renewed. This long and often glorious past of the character sets the bar very high.

The previous film, which introduced us to the new Peter Parker, wasn’t bad. It was part of a more cohesive movie universe that the confused "The Amazing Spider-Man" reboot. It attempted to showcase better performances, better characters and sensible special effects. Unfortunately, it failed in the SFX, but we forgave them for that. Spidy was back, and he was a believable and nice guy.

This is movie, they have improved on humour and SPX, and the end result is a significant step in the right direction. Some of the humour was little childish, but I could understand that PG-13 movies target actual kids as well, not just some old fan who came into the cinema to relive childhood!

Plot was predictable, but SFX and humour make up for it.

All in all, a good watch.
