I’ve been to the place twice and my review has been tempered by the second visit. The first time I visited with a friend. I found the place very quaint being on the first floor of what seems to have been an old house. I liked the fact that they had preserved the old house (instead of pulling it down and building a modern monstrosity).
I liked the food. I had some form of pasta and remember that the portion was quite large. Since my friend had ordered a different dish we were able to try two different items. At the end of the lunch we were quite full.
The second time around, I went with my wife. The place looked a bit more run down (especially the loo!). The food quality was a tad lesser than before and the waiters did not seem to be as well informed. It was still an acceptable experience and I would still recommend it to others but I am not ga-ga about it any longer.
