I really love to freak out on italian delicacies.. have visited quite a few including the ever reliable casa piccola...
One fine day me and my friends decided to go to a different restaurant. one of my colleagues had mentioned about spiga... so I decided to give it a shot...
This dainty restaurant is located off St. Marks’ road... its not even noticeable..a very small board indicates the name... The first time I entered I wasnt even sure if it was the restaurant!! It looks like a normal house( it is actually converted from one) from outside..
But when u enter inside, things change... its not like the hustle bustle of large restaurants... its small with the tables and chairs neatly spaced ( althoh some people might find this place totally cramped)
the menu is really mouth watering as they have a lot of varieties.. italian dishes rock!!
the waiters are pretty quick to get to you inspite the rush it experiences sometimes..
the food is delicious .. have gone there a couple of times and liked it everytime..
the prices of all the dishes are pretty economical and they are really good.
if you really want to have something real good at a decent place, spiga is the one!!
