I received a message from spinny for my car with a decent price and was told it might increase based on the inspection. The inspection was scheduled same day. The fellow took around an hour for inspection (causing potential damage) finding faults. I knew they won’t stick to their price. I refused the 3km round trip as test drive as I was sure they are not going to offer anything better. I was checking the reviews and noticed it’s that standard practice. Potentially damage the vehicle in the name of inspection and then offer a scrap dealer price. In case you decide to schedule the inspection make sure you keep an eye on the fellow inspecting the vehicle and don’t get distracted. After reading several reviews and experiencing 1st hand, I suggest to stay away from these guys and check with a local dealer. Spinny takes customers for a ride and it’s not worth it.
