We may have definitely seen that “love” based T.V shows are a huge hit. However, Splitsvilla just did not manage to trigger the requisite amount of fandom.
The basic premise of getting ‘dumped’ to becoming the king and queen with dumping powers caused the audience to reach a point of saturation.
The cat-fights, the innate urge to take revenge and subtle and cold back-stabbing among the contestants just did not teach the audience a larger lesson. This ship just sunk without a trace.never watched this types of shows again in my future.
