Oversized and unworthy

Sprint PCS, you probably have seen on the various advertisements on TV. I can only start by saying, I would not go back to them EVER. For this reason: No customer service, and unwilling to work with people with problems. They send me a promotion saying I can change my home telephone long distance to Sprint and have the .05 per minute long distance without the monthly $2.95 charge, it took them 2 months to get the $2.95 off my phone bill after I switched. 1 month later they send me a note saying that they will charge me $5 if I don’t spend $35 per month in long distance. Phone calls are constantly dropped for no apparent reason, anywhere. Standing still in an open field, my calls are dropped or at the very least become so garbled the call is unrecognizable. Doesn’t matter what city either. I’ve tried the phone in NYC, Fort Lauderdale, or Columbus, Ohio with the same network problems. Want to talk to customer service, forget it. I have routinely waited for 45 minutes to reach a service representative.

After getting a qualcomm telephone and having problems with it I was told I would have to pay another activation fee for a new phone since I had already had the qualcomm for 90 days and the warrantly is expired. Sprint doesn’t support their phones unless you pay an additional fee for ’’insurance’’ and even then you have to pay a deductable if the phone starts to malfunction. By comparison T-Mobile/Voicestream covers their phones for 1 year without a monthly fee and exchanges them at no charge. In my opinion Sprint has grown too quickly and needs to reevaluate how they handle their customers. They are very helpful when you want to sign up, but once they have your name on a contract their mood changes to ’’who cares your locked in’’
