Remote control’s ’mute’ is my most favourite button when the commercials are on...frankly speaking, I hate to watch those crappy and clumsy ads which makes you nothing but more irritated and unfortunately...I have never ever catched those award winning commercials!
And if those dragging and yawning comedy isn’t making you laugh then this would surely make you to laugh to glory. I agree that it isn’t one of the artistic advertisments but...what is bad to try these competing ads sometimes?...moreover, it will compel you to appreciate the idea...really...the ad is so intelligently presented. I have watched the very ol’ sweet Pepsi ad at the time when Hritik Roshan was on the top and was engaged by Coca cola to do their commercials...but that was somewhere making fun of the star and not competing to the product itself. ’’I wanna do...man! I wanna do.....’’ reminds you of the newly launched ’Mountain dew’...now, whatever...I would really like to mention the true efforts of the director to make the ad sound hilarious......
It certainly is a relief to the sloppy ad world...Those weird people falling from the roof and coming to the dhaba owner saying ’’I wanna dew(sounding ’do’)man...I wanna a dew’’ and then the owner’s ’gulp’ is what actually make you laugh...it’s simply awesome. Everything is just perfect in this ad...the cast, the surroundings, dialogues...comedy and intelligence...nothing is too much neither too little...It has been quite years since I saw some very well made commercials!
Though I agree that it is not healthy to make such commercials which make fun of other products but I find it more unhealthy to analyze everything...it vanishes the fun of your life! Remember ’’In the end...everything is a gag’’...
