OHHHH!! DRINK SPRITE!!!
That’s right! I said drink Sprite. This little bubbly, effervescent soft drink, with the peculiar name, is delicious, thirst quenching and just down-right enjoyable.
It looks like 7-UP. Tastes a bit like 7-UP. Okay so what’s the difference?
First of all, yes, it looks exactly like 7-UP, but that’s where the similarities end. The taste is completely different. 7-UP tastes more like the old fashioned lemon-lime, soda fountain drinks. That’s great if you like that heavy lemony taste. But, if you’re in the market for something more refreshing, without a lingering after-taste, try SPRITE.
Okay now, what does a Pixie have to do with a soft drink?
Well, someone who’s small enough to tickle your funny bone without being seen is called a PIXIE.
A soft drink that’s CLEAR and EFFERVESCENT enough to tickle your taste buds is called SPRITE.
According to my dictionary, a PIXIE and a SPRITE are the same thing.
So, as I said, if you really want to tickle your tongue with a great tasting soft drink while you’re quenching your thirst, DRINK SPRITE!!
(Oh one more thing ........ maybe you like the not-so-ordinary - like me - then you’ve got to try this: take a large glass, add ice cubes (or cracked ice), fill it HALF way with COKE, then fill the rest with SPRITE and mix! BOY, WHAT A DRINK!!!!!)
