Sree Annapoorna was once the best veg restaurant I have ever eaten in. They had many signature dishes and people visiting Coimbatore will not leave without tasting Sambar Idli of Annapoorna. It was still the highest regarded veg restaurant in Tamilnadu(It has branches all over Tamilnadu). I must say the legend is falling now
Their menu is the biggest veg menu you can see in South India. They serve 30+ varieties of Dosas(and Uthappams) and they are not much different from each other in taste. Their menu has all there is available in South Indian cuisine. They have a lot of North Indian and Chinese veg items like Tandoori bread, gravies, soups, noodles etc. My favourite in Chinese items is Veg Ball Manchurian. But I must say Sree Annapoorna’s food these days are never the same like their golden old days. This hotel is running just due to their old name fame and not for their taste. The food is not tasty or different from other hotels
It is located on a cut road from a major road, and as you should expect, it is always crowded and noisy.If you like calmness when you eat, try somewhere else. The customer service is very poor and waiters are not being very polite
Also, the price is very high and over-rated, as you can get the same items in same taste somewhere else cheaper. The menu is not worth the money
