I visited this newly-inaugurated restaurant in this summers, imagining to have north-Indian cuisine. But it was such a disappointing experience.
• At first, I can see the same posters of Chats and Bhatooras, which Bikarnerwala had(To your knowledge Sri Bankey Bihari was opened in the same place where the Bikarnerwala used to run).
• Secondly, it was really hot and they had not maintained a right temperature. And also there was so frequent power-cuts(seriously annoying) in middle of the lunch.
• Thirdly, when we landed on list of dishes, then they had really limited options at that time, so I have to end-up having a thaali. But seriously, there was a lot of waiting… and eventually when the food was not at all worthy. Not liked the naan or kadhai paneer…
It was sheer wastage of time and money to visit this restaurant. Although, the staff was coordinating as they have replace one veg in thali with kadai paneer. But still food and ambience matter a lot. Alike Bikanerwala(I think neighborhood Haldiram was giving a tough competition – a reason for its shutdown), this restaurant was also seen with very less crowd. I would never dream to enter this Sri Bankey Bihari again.
