Traveled in the month of October’14 via a private tour from Lal Baug with family and friends. When you go around Lanka initially it seems to be more like India but then your views eventually change as you explore more about it. My first stop was at Kandy which was a very good experience which kicked off by visiting Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
The Hotels in which we were given accommodated were 3 Stars and they were good with beautiful scenery’s. Food was excellent! Next stop were Bentota, this place was more about Beaches and temples. Good accommodation and a very worthwhile experience. Final stop was at Colombo which lasted than a day. If you’re ever going to Colombo, don’t forget visiting Raja Bojun for an amazing afternoon buffet. Mouth watering sea food.
Over all a very satisfying trip!
