I spent 4 months in this country. During that time I was robbed, harassed, followed by men on foot and in cars. It doesn’t matter what you wear, men will stare and whistle at you, try to touch you, invite themselves to your place, or show their body parts. I’ve never felt so unsafe in my life, even though I’ve been to 8 Asian countries. It doesn’t matter who the man is: a passerby, a hotel owner, a taxi driver, a waiter. If you don’t agree with the price or their desire to have a long flirty chat, they might get angry and call names.
