I used to stay in Ashoknagar, hyderabad for groups coaching. Due to lockdown i decided to vacate my room and return to home. As I cannot carry such bag with huge weight i opt to consign my bag of books through SRMT transport on 13 jun 2020. After 4 days i asked the SRMT agent in the destiny town for which they didn’t give any answer.
When ever we call, they just say that they are looking for the bag.
When asked for the claim , they said that the value of bag(consignment) mentioned as ZERO in LR due to whichw we cannot claim. In cace if we want to claim, they demanded the bills of purchase of books.
Just imagine how can we have bills of books which are purchased at different points of time ?
Now after two months, SRMT people stopped to lift my phone calls and customer support is worst.
Even after making lot of calls to different different people, we dindt get any clue of the missing parcel.
Now iam thinking to approach consumer forum to get justice.
