Talk about money in beginning, keep account paisa by paisa, get it in writing if you agree something with them because I have gone through this today 7-July-2019 where I was told that the amount paid 5400/- will cover 3 days with 5 people from my end and 3 priests.
I had 3 days ritual where 3rd day was vykunta samaradhane.
Today 7th July during vykuntha, we have been charged extra for 5 people. Also during booking we were told that the amount would be Rs120/- per leaf for food and today 7th July I have been charged 160/- per leaf.
I had been to this mutt in basavanagudi 2 weeks before and made a request to cancel this and return my Rs5400/- but I was assured by Venktesh that there won’t be any extra charge apart from Rs800 for 1 priest on vykuntha and 16 donations of my wish. But we were charged for 2 priests 1600 and since it was 1 priest according to me, we wrapped 100x6 and 50x10 & wasted our money for 16 donations.
Beware of this place, it’s just a business for them and they will show no mercy to anyone but grab your hard earned money in the name of God.
