this is my first review in this section and I confess that its for go goa contest but really writing a review for such a thing is a pleasure in itself.
i’ve been to srinagar, gulmarg and pehalgaam once but it has been the best experience in my life.
the beauty of this place is that its still has its beauty untouched may be b’coz of terrorism.
the reach from jammu is hard as only comfortable way is through air.by road its really hard.it could take around 12 hrs.but in the way ull get various famous stops where u can eat and rest.first one at nandni where pakoras are very famous.second at Kud where u’ll find famous prem’s sohan papri.next one is Peeda where pure ghee rajma chawal lunch is very famous and delicious too.the scenery around wiil keep u busy and ull not get bored.
srinagar has one thing unique frm others and thats its security arrangements.u could see the army man on every km on 320 km nh-1 highway frm jammu to srinagar.rules are really strict there.u cant stop ur vehicle in between road.
srinagar is blessed with is beautiful dal lake which has its own attractions of shikara and house boat.in season, a house boat could cost u more than 3000 bucks but in ofseason, u can manage it in 700 .shikara ride for 100 to 150 is amazing experience.in evening the gathering around lake makes a pleasant atmosphere.u can visit nearby shankaracharya and hazratbal, the famous religious places.shalimar and nishat gardens are really the best gardens in world.
Gulmarg: the journey from srinagar to gulmarg is best one in my life.those fresh water mini rivers on both side of roads adds to the beauty of way.the cherry gardens on way has their own beauty.u can rest and experience some cherries frm tree.u can get the packed one directly frm there.when u reach gulmarg, the scenery is like heven.the lonk green fields and mountains on back is really fantastic.in winters these fields covers with snow and u can ski there.u can reach on mountains through gondola which costs around 200 bucks.this ropeway is asia’s highest.gulmarg is famous for its winter sports.every year winter sports are organized here.now lets go to pehalgaam, the summer paradise of kashmir.
Pehalgam:this place is good to visit in summers.this has its beauty in river here.a good picnic can be organized here riverside.in summers u can see a lot of ppl here.pehalgams market is famous for its local art work such as leather work.
these three places together make kashmir the best place to visit in india.
