I liked Ssshhhh Koi hain when it started in July 2001. The plots seemed good, with an unique feature of each episode being that the horror is never completely eliminated. Some loose ends are not tied up, and though the protagonists are saved, the ghost returns.
But ever since they roped in VIKRAAL, a ghostbuster , things changed. I don’t blame mamik, but the serial cannot call itself a horror show any more. The most horrifying part of the programme is the opening music. All they show is someone catching ghosts with high tech( for ghosts at least) gadgets and nothing else. None of the ghosts pose any real challenge to him.
A good concept has been wasted.
