St.Ives an inexpensive and usually great brand for personal care products. I have used the apricot scrub, which is fantastic, so I decided to try the Apricot cleanser. At first I really liked it. It comes in a clear bottle 200 mL with a blue pump. It has a very light fragrance, but it doesn’t really smell good. This cleanser takes a lot to lather up, and even with a lot of the cleanser, it doesn’t lather well.
As many times as I washed my face, it did not feel very clean. I have combination skin and my face would still be oily. This cleanser, however, did not cause irritation. This cleanser just did not work for me. I know others who swear off it.
The price is around 3-4 dollars. It was worth a try. I will continue to buy the apricot facial scrub though. I remember when I used it my face would feel like it was glowing.
I will not use this cleanser again. If you have normal skin that doesn’t get really oily or get many blemishes, I guess you could try this.
I am disappointed in this product from a usually great company.
