I would agree to most of you people about the service offered by Manhattan credit cards.
I applied Manhattan credit card when it was launched in India about a couple of years ago.
I was about to leave India to Germany for deputation of almost 2 years. While applying, sales agent convinced me that I can use and pay bills while abroad too, which pleased me and I applied for the card.
To my utter surprise when I received this card, I was told that I can’t pay my bills in Germany and nearest location for payment is UK. It was strange for me.
I immediately applied for cancellation of my card, which was duly cancelled after umpteen number of calls and mails to customer care people.
I haven’t used the same, so I can’t comment on service and other charges.
But my overall impression was that due to lack of information with sales staff, company had to bear expenses of my card, which I got cancelled after it was delivered to me.
