ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE FROM A CORPORATE COMPANY : Of course, we know it, we have seen it. But this was a little different.
They were so specific about my designation in my organization (how come they get these details?). And they said, we are offering 2 free tickets in PVR cinemas . As I already have this offer in one of my other VISA credit cards I asked what is so special about it?
She said " we give you 2 free tickets on the same day for the purchase of one, whereas others give only one per day and two in a month. I checked the website and asked her on the subsequent day that such thing is not mentioned anywhere on the Manhattan CC site. She said, this OFFER IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR my company EMPLOYEES AND WONT BE MENTIONED IN THEIR WEBSITE.
I took the card , since I had nothing to lose, but around Rs.150 more to gain , everytime I go to PVR, if what she said was true.
It was a false promise. When I used it in PVR, it charged me for all the 3 tickets. Irony is, when I asked them, they cooly tell me "the representative told A LIE". What else could I expect from them - anyway, by now , I have already become their card member -(:
well, of course, you would have nothing to lose by getting this card- There is nothing great about these credit cards - they are all one and the same. But this mailer is only to tell you that DONT BELEIVE ANY FALSE PROMISES. Sans this, if you want to go ahead for this card, please do so.
