Fraud practices by Standard Chartered Bank

I am holding a credit card with a bunch of cheats called Standard Chartered Bank. I am also having two other accounts which they opened on their own for a balance transfer I took and another for a personal loan. So every month I am required to pay to these three accounts, which I do through separate cheques.

Even though I make payment separately for each account, when I receive the statement next month, I find that they have done a lot of apportioning between the three accounts, so much so that the statement is very confusing and you have sit with the statement for at least half an hour to find out if the payment I have made has actually been credited to my account.

I have not done this before. But this time I thought I should check. To my utter horror, I found out that the actual amount credited was Rs.2500 short of the payment I had made. When I called the call center the executive tells me that I had some outstanding amount in a card which I cancelled in June 2008.

This amount was adjusted to that card. When I tried to reason with her that I had no outstanding in that card and even if I had I should have been receiving statements for that card, which I wasn’t.She just bluntly tells me.

."Ok I’ll send you the statement." How can they be so unscrupulous in cheating. I had no outstanding on that card. If I had how could they cancel it. I have sent a complaint to the head of the customer grievance cell. No reply so far. Wonder what she is going to say. Such a bunch of dirty rotten cheats they are, I would advice everybody not to have any relations with this bank.
