Just wanted to share with all the horrific experience that I am going through due to SCB’s disgusting service & unlawful code of conduct.
I have Home Loan A/c with SCB for which I have submitted blank cheques to Bank (since ECS can not work during pre-emi time, so I am told by them). SCB is using these cheques to withdraw money from my account whenever they want & for whatever amount they feel like, without any intimation to me. Also, they never present cheque on the pre-emi payable date i.e. 1st of every month & then charge me for LATE PAYMENT FEE(??).
When I approached Bank Executive(s) for explanation on this wrong doing, they only assure to revert to me & never respond. I have filed a complaint with SCB Customer Care for which I received docket number & assurance that the Customer Care officer would call me within 24 hrs. 2 days have passed & I am still waiting that call.... Moreover, the Loan Execs, now don’t even answer my call nor take any action on the ongoing issues.
In the mean time, I have sent written complaint to head.service@sc.com, customer.care@sc.com & the loan executives, however no response at all from their side.
I am now seriously thinking of dragging SCB into Consumer Court & sue them for misuse of authority (cheques submitted to them) & for failing to provide accurate service on all front!
PLEASE..... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DON’T EVER DEAL WITH STANDARD CHARTERED BANK IN INDIA!!!
