Height of frustration

I had a Barclay credit card which has been transferred to Standard Charted few months back. I got a phone call for this and had been told, I would receive the card very soon. But after that, I haven’t received any call from Standard Charted Bank. The card has not been delivered to me. Previously I used to pay online for that Barclay card, but since it has been changed and I have not got the card I am not able to pay the amount for last three months (because I don’t know the card number).


I have visited the JM Road, Pune branch, but they don’t have any information about credit card. I am only getting online statement for card number and ending four digits. I am really surprised, no one called me for my due payment, more over the card was never delivered to me, not even I got any call regarding the delivery failure.I don’t want my CBill to go bad. I sent a e - mail to them with my current address and phone number from my registered mail id. After a week I got a mail from SCB asking my phone number and address again. I told these details I already given before and why they are wasting time asking the same thing again and again; moreover Barclay had my updated phone number and I used to receive SMS on regular basis. Believe me, one one called me and it is almost 10 days passed and my payment dates are gone again. I am running with money, but no one is ready to tell me how to pay, still they are charging more and more.


Phone banking is not telling me any information about the card as I don’t have the card number. Same thing already happened to my friend with SCB. I never choose SCB to do such things with me. Please tell me what to do? I am planning to file a complain in consumer court.
